* Who is talking about Valentine's day, we talk about wedding dress ?

Dracula_lucy_s_wedding_dress_TThe opportunity is now back on a wedding dress worn by Aurélie in 2000 for the character of Lucy Wenstenra in the play "Dracula."

Although the majority of dialogue came from the Coppola film, the atmosphere of the original book by Bram Stoker is very active especially during dark scenes. Coppola worked with Eiko Ishioka and devoted a large budget for costumes and created a dress code: for example, Mina dresses a "vegetal" which symbolizes purity of heart while Lucy keeps a dresses "animal" representation of the underlying sensuality ...

Here, the costume designer took against foot-inverssant styles of these two characters. Mina is a young woman destined to his passion with the Prince when Lucy was a collateral victim in the wrong place at the wrong time, inheriting style "vegetal"...

This wedding dress, a vintage model from 1969 of French trademark Pronuptia was chosen for its simplicity and its grounds marguerite. The collar and cuff tulle had was replaced by the bridal veil original, bouffant at the rear.

Pronuptia celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2008.
