All dauphinois, it is interested or not La Petite Reine, is necessarily the famous Critérium du Dauphiné.
This year it will go by Nancy and, surprisingly, almost at the foot of the younger Dauphinoise!

* Aurélie and sewing, a family history ...
Some time ago we had occasion to mention the great-grandfather of Aurélie, Martin-Gustave Morel, a former renowned tailor from Grenoble. Here is a famous family anecdote ...
(< This is sewing workshop of Gustave Martin-Morel from Grenoble, noted the jewelry Gabriel Gay employing one of his daughters - Me Chaillol)
The slate of Uncle Mickey
Gustave Martin Morel, the great-grandfather of Aurélie Dubois, Me Gervasoni now, was a tailor of Grenoble and enjoy a very good reputation. And when one of Walt Disney girls's married they has appealed for the costume made of the future husband ...
The couple made the journey across the Atlantic for the last fitting and promises to pay upon their return to the USA, but despite several revival remain dead letter the payment will never happen!
It is likely Sharon Mae Disney, the adopted daughter of Disney after his death in 1966 leaves him no inheritance contrary to his sister "organic" Diane Marie Disney. So when Sharon decided to remarry after the death of her first husband in 1967, the couple can not ride on gold and certainly, on balance probably decided not to pay the expensive suit that distant creditor to France. Since Gustave died in turn ...
One can imagine a happy ending or the mouse the most famous of the world finally had to pay this French family the old command!

* Story historic on Castle Bouquéron
Here is a story for the history of French pro...
In 1465 King Charles VII de France who found his son and too unbearable turbulent sent troops in the Dauphiné to make it stop. Knowing they are pursued knowing, louis XI flees and meets the Lord Bouquéron of this time; it offered hospitality, negotiating with Claude Coct for the castle, also accepted despite the consequences that could arise... The soldiers reached the castle, Coct sent Louis XI to hide in a small vaulted room under a staircase. The arches wanting to search the closed room Coct said "Do not enter! This is the room of the devil!" Dissuaded them ! After his coronation the young king did not forget her savior and was appointed Paymaster General of the Dauphiné (Trésorier Payeur Général du Dauphiné, in french) and the right to operate for 15 years forges Allevard.
After this episod, Claude Coct, modifies and expands the castle, and even claimed that he found the famous treasure of the Templars (trésor des Templiers, in French). The mystery remains unsolved, and this is the reality that joins the legend of the Ghost of the Castle of Bouquéron ...
But that's another story !

* But after the revolution that happened there at the castle Bouquéron ?
After many mail (Thank you for your interest ;-)) here is a small quick update after intelligence with Aurélie ...
After the revolution in 1792, the area was declared a national asset and sold to Armand Rey, physician and mayor of Corenc which will open Bouquéron baths -"Les Bains de Bouquéron", in French- because the water that feeds the castle still has the same properties as that of Evian -the famous french mineral water drunk by the biggest Hollywood celebrities-.
Opened on 1st May 1853 it closed in 1905 due to strong competition of the time.
In 1908 Master Giraud of Paris bought the castle whose descendants are still the current owners (in 2006).
So...

* Family history, history of castle ...
To begin with, impossible to talk about family Chaillol (ex. Chaillol de Bouquéron) without mentioning Bouquéron Castle located in the town of Corenc in Isère (France). Originally belonging to the family of Chaillol Bouquéron he was abandoned at the dawn of the Revolution in 1791, when the family was exiled to the other side of the Alps in Italy where she left his name to the particle for become simply "Chaillol".
The links with this family was demonstrated at a scientific conference in 1857 led by the mayor of the town, Mr. Pilot, which was discovered in an room of ancient castle : two escutcheons of the family and Coct and family Chaillol (scientific congress de France in September 1857). "Much later we also found, at random from a renovation in the foyer with a fireplace in an old building that belonged to this Chaillol; the famous shield ..."
Recorded "monuments historique" in 1988 for the facade, roof, dining room, small and large living room, the castle is built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the plains of Grenoble, a former defensive fortress, built in the early twelfth century. Visible from the road but closed to visitors.
Even today the origin of the castle is poorly known, some attribute to Rolland nephew of Charlemagne. It really in 1100 there are the first mentioned in the cartulary of Saint-Hugues ("cartulaire de Saint-Hugues", in french).
In 1221 while the owner was the lord of Châteauneuf Berlion de Alben, the archives of the Isere retain a title recalling a donation to a monk of the Grande Chartreuse (Elexis producer of the same name famous around the world). His heirs retained until 1340, then Aymard, the 1st Bouquéron, son of Berlion constructed the square tower the entrance to the fortress.
It was his brother Peter's Bouquéron who succeeded him before being besieged by Beatrix de Savoie lady Montfleury et de Montbonnot (future wife) who extended his suzerainty over the property. At that time the land Bouquéron stretch of the stream Buissière to the east of the old path of Chartreuse, in the west, and the path of Salette. Berlion Bouquéron son of Pierre de Bouquéron even extend to 500 hectares. Having the power of "low and middle justice" on their land, the lord of Bouquéron did not hesitate to imprison in the Tower which is adjacent to the castle, practicing flogging and hanging when he had decided.
Berlion of Bouquéron died in 1335 and is one of his son which "exchange" the castle of the family against those of Entraigues in 1340. Castle Bouquéron became owned by a cousin Montfleury. . After the death of the latter is one of his sons-in-law François Béranger de Sassenage who inherits.
Shortly after a rebellion of the monks of the chapter of Our Lady (chapitre de notre Dame, in french) deprives them, but, the Delphinal council before being, Francis was confirmed in their rights and regain their land. When he died in 1399 the castle goes to Jean Legendre, and after François III de Sassenage who sold in 1465 to Claude Coct whose descendants stay until the French Revolution of 1789.
In 1570 Beatrix Jean-Robert and after Gaspard her son were owners. The castle is inherited of Claude Chaillol's wife. He directed new works at Taste of day with new wood, magnificent fireplaces and gold decoration. Generations will succeed until Laurent de la Caste, president of the parliament and Comte, that concludes the list of Lord of Bouquéron before emigrating in 1791 to Italy to escape the growing anger of the French people...
Bouquéron has seen in its walls men fighting, death or cure. They are passed as the time ... Still full of old memories, it overlooks, unchanging, the valley on the cliff.
